Register now for Fall 2018 Spartan Baseball Camp!
The Southwestern Spartan baseball program is hosting fall camps for elementary and high school players. During the camps, an emphasis will be placed on age-appropriate fundamentals including defense, base running, and hitting. One-on-one attention will help players gain experience and strengthen their skills.
Camps scheduled for fall 2018 include:
- Grades 3-5, Sunday, Sept. 30, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., cost $40. Emphasis will be on basic fundamentals and making the game FUN!
- Grades 6-8, Sunday, Oct. 7, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., cost $50. Camp will focus on the fundamentals of defense, base running, and hitting. Campers will be exposed to new drills to better develop their skills.
- Grades 9-12, Sunday, Oct. 14, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., cost $60. Emphasis will be on the fundamentals we stress with our players along with more in-depth drills and player development. Campers will also get insight on our philosophies at Southwestern. There will be an optional campus tour for high school seniors following camp.
All campers should bring their own lunch. Equipment to bring to camp: glove, bat (if available), and cleats. Wear baseball pants. Checks should be made payable to Southwestern Baseball and can be submitted at registration the day of camp or be mailed in advance to Kenny Namanny, head baseball coach, Southwestern Community College, 1501 W.
