Athletic Department Honors Academic Excellence

Athletic Department Honors Academic Excellence

On January 20, 2022, the Southwestern Athletic Department is honoring six sports teams that were recognized by the NJCAA for their academic excellence and received NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year awards for the 2020-21 academic year. Each year, the NJCAA recognizes teams in each sport for their dedication in the classroom on the NJCAA Academic Teams of the Year list. While many of the members of these teams are no longer a part of the Southwestern campus due to graduation, they are #ForeverSouthwestern and will be lifelong Spartans.

Please help all of Spartan Nation in congratulating the below teams and roster members for their academic excellence. If you are a graduating member of one of these teams or a member that graduated years ago, please let us know how you are doing and what you are up to by completing our Athletic Alumni Update Form.
