On Wednesday, March 28, the Spartan baseball team headed to Simpson College in Indianola for a single game against the Iowa Central Tritons. The Spartans capitalized on good at-bats, pitching, and opponent errors in a 10-5 win over the Iowa Central Tritons. Sophomore pitcher, Dylan Torres kept the Triton scoreless until the fifth inning.
This win boosts the Spartans to 7-14 overall for the season as they head into conference play on March 30 against Marshalltown CC.
