Corning's Brooklyn Sonntag, who has performed on the Southwest Valley High School dance team all four years of high school, has committed to the Spartan dance team for the 2021-22 academic year.

In addition to dance, Sonntag participated in tennis two years, earned her Iowa FFA degree, and is a member of FFA, Y-Teens, and FCCLA. She was inducted into the National Honor Society and has been on the Southwest Valley honor roll.

Southwestern Head Dance Coach Paige Busch said, "I'm excited to have Brooklyn join our team and look forward to watching her as a Spartan dance team member.

Sonntag graduated from Southwest Valley High School in May 2021. She is the daughter of Steve and Mikalah Sonntag of Corning.
