Coach Cory Dorsey and the competitive fishing team participated in the 2023 MCBC Tournament Trail on the Mississippi River in LaCrosse on July 15. The tournament featured 32 other division 1 schools.

SWCC's bass fishing team competed this past weekend at the inaugural Mid-Northern College Bass Coalition Tournament in Okoboji.

Beginning with the fall 2022 semester, the college will field a bass fishing team for the first time in college history and Cory Dorsey of Corning will lead the Spartan anglers.
