The ICCAC named Southwestern freshman Ali Enright today as the ICCAC Division II Softball Athlete of the Week for position players for the week of April 1-7.
In 10 games against ICCAC DI and DII competition during the week, Enright hit .482 at the plate (13 for 27) with four doubles, two home runs and 11 runs batted in. She scored 12 runs. She also picked up a victory in the pitching circle. Southwestern went 4-6, including a walk-off win over NJCAA Division II fifth-ranked Iowa Central.
Enright is hitting .315 for the season, which ranks second for the Spartans. She leads the team with 10 doubles, four home runs and 21 RBIs, along with her .616 slugging percentage.
