Southwestern Community College sports shooter Kyle Redinbaugh, freshman of Atlantic, represented the Spartans in the Nebraska Whole Hog Open-Sporting Clays Shoot from June 8-10, 2018, at the Oak Creek Sporting Club in Brainard, NE, coming home with a fifth place finish overall in his class.
During the event, Redinbaugh competed in the 100 target pump gun event, finishing first; the super sporting clays competition, finishing seventh; the Oak Creek Cup event, finishing fifth; and the whole hog main event, finishing fourth. Once the scores were tabulated, Redinbaugh ended up finishing fifth overall in the two-day event.
Marc Roberg, Spartan sports shooting coach, was extremely happy with the results and said Redinbaugh shot very well both days.
