Bisignano Signs with UNK

The Southwestern baseball program now has four sophomores committed to four-year schools from the 2016 class.  John Bisignano recently signed with the University of Nebraska-Kearney and joins Samuel Vega (Northern Illinois University), Bradly Lopez (University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff), and London Collins (MidAmerica Nazarene University) on SWCC's list of sophomores moving on to four-year programs.

Bisignano, the Dowling Catholic grad, has been in the weekend rotation for the Spartans over the last two seasons and will continue his baseball career in one of the toughest conferences in NCAA Division II.  Bisignano will likely face former Spartans Ethan Westphal (University of Central Missouri), Zach Anderson (Lincoln University of Missouri), and Zach Maskill (Lincoln University of Missouri) in future MIAA matchups.  Bisignano was an Academic All-Region selection as a freshman and plans to pursue a bachelor's degree in kinesiology.
