Haylea England, of Mount Ayr, has committed to the Southwestern Community College (SWCC) Dazzlers dance team for their 2017-18 season.

England, a May 2017 graduate of Mount Ayr High School, has been active in high school, competing in dance all four years.  She was selected for the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team in 2016 and 2017; was the Iowa State Dance and Drill Team Association (ISDTA) 2017 state runner-up in solo for Class IA; and her team was named as the state drill team champions in novelty in 2014 and in pom in 2016 and 2017. England excelled in the classroom as well, being named as a member of the National Honor Society and listed on the honor roll for multiple semesters.

England, who will major in animal science at SWCC, is the daughter of Todd and Julie England of Mount Ayr. The Dazzlers dance team is coached by Kaeleigh Ballentine, ballentine@swcciowa.edu.
