Creston's Hallie Orr has committed to the Southwestern dance program for their 2022-23 season.

Orr is a lifetime dancer. She received the 2021 Dancer of the Year award at The Spotlight School of Dance in Creston. In 2021, she was selected as Dancer of the Year finalist at Celebration Dance Competition and later competed at nationals. She received a Division I rating at state competition for her solo. She has earned numerous other awards at dance competitions.

During high school, Orr has received varsity letters in cheer, bowling, and dance. She has earned her place on the honor roll all four years of high school.

Paige Busch, Southwestern head dance coach, looks forward to having Orr's technique on her team.

"Hallie is a very talented and skilled dancer with many years of training," Busch said. "We are super excited to have her be a part of our team next year."

Orr will graduate from Creston High School in May 2022. She is the daughter of Glenn and Heather Orr of Creston.
