Central Decatur grad headed to SWCC for dance

Taylor Beavers, a May 2021 graduate of Central Decatur High School in Leon, is headed to SWCC for the fall 2022 semester to compete on the Dazzlers dance team.

During the 2021-22 academic year, Beavers is attending Graceland University in Lamoni. While in high school at Central Decatur, she competed in cheerleading, dance, track, and cross country. She earned varsity letters in track, cross country, and cheerleading. In addition, Taylor earned academic awards in cheer and dance. Her senior year of high school, she and her dance team competed in nationals and finished second in Small Select Hip Hop. Beavers has been involved in FFA and participated in the high school play.

She is the daughter of Adam and Sara Beavers and Nicole Smith.
