Creston, IA—The Southwestern Community College (SWCC) dance program has announced East Union High School senior Brylea Woollums will be competing as a member of the team during the 2024-25 dance season.

Woollums has participated in drill team for three years; volleyball and archery for four years; and wrestling and basketball for one year during her high school career.

“I’m excited Brylea has chosen SWCC as her home following high school,” said Paige Russo, SWCC head dance coach. “She works hard and is determined. I am anxious to get the season rolling with Brylea and the rest of the team.”

In addition to sports, Woollums has been named to the honor roll all four years of high school and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Woollums is the daughter of Korie Woollums of Creston.
