Southwestern Community College is hosting Community Appreciation Night Wednesday, Nov. 6, for the Spartan men's basketball game vs. Quakerdale Prep.

Community Appreciation Night is sponsored by Creston Automotive. Admission to the Community Appreciation Night basketball game is free of charge and the first 50 fans in the door will receive a free Southwestern T-shirt. In addition, Rick Benson of Creston Automotive will be grilling, with $5 pork loin sandwich dinner baskets for sale beginning at 6:15 p.m.

The SWCC Shoppe also hosts its Holiday Open House on Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Stop by the SWCC Shoppe prior to the game for holiday shopping with free gift wrap, scrumptious food samples, door prizes and 20 percent off apparel.

Giving back, community service, and being more involved is a growing focus of our athletic department.
