Spartan Men Currently 6-7 in Shortened 22-Game Season

The Southwestern men have faced nine ranked or receiving-votes opponents in their thirteen played games, so while a 6-7 season may not look that great, every victory in a tough Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) is hard-earned and celebration-worthy.

At this point in the season, the Spartans have two scoring in double-figures per game: sophomores James Kelley (13.5 ppg) and Donzell Johnson (13.4 ppg). Kelley also currently ranks fifth in the ICCAC in rebounds per game (6.5) and fifth in Field Goal percent (48.6%).

On the defensive end of the floor, Southwestern is top-20 in the country giving up just 70.5 points per game. Offensively, the Spartans have had success beyond the arc, making 120 three-pointers at this point in the season, which is second in the country.
