The Spartan Dunk Club is being established to raise funds, through the Southwestern Community College Education Foundation, for men’s basketball scholarships and additional team needs. The scholarships will assist student-athletes on Southwestern’s men’s basketball team. The members of the Spartan Dunk Club will have exclusive interaction with the men’s basketball program and its players throughout the season.
Southwestern Head Coach Devin Kastrup realizes the importance of fundraising and recognizes it will be a catalyst to assist the team in reaching goals set for the program and help offset the rising costs of college tuition for students. The Southwestern Community College Education Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and therefore gifts to the club are tax-deductible to the extent provided by the law.

Spartan Nation! As a former Spartan myself, I am honored to be given the opportunity to lead this program. My experience at Southwestern taught me so many valuable lessons, which I credit for guiding me to this position today.
