Southwestern Head Golf Coach Doug North recently announced the addition of Harrison Galea to the team for the 2019-20 season.

Galea, who graduated from De La Salle Catholic in Sydney, Australia, in November 2017, signed a letter of intent to play golf at Southwestern next year.

Among Galea's accomplishments are a junior club championship and a Junior Masters championship. In addition, he was honored for academic excellence from 2014 through 2017 and won a class achievement award.

"Harrison is the kind of player I enjoy," North said. "He works hard. He is a long-ball player with some touch, who is comfortable in a team environment. There is no limit for a hard-working young man like him."

Galea is the first recruit signed by North for the 2019-20 season.
