Teran Newell has signed his National Letter of Intent to golf for the Southwestern Spartans starting the 2022-23 academic year. Newell, hailing from Brrington, Nova Scotia is facing a 30+ hour drive before his arrival to Creston. Newell has had ample success as a junior golfer highlighted by winning the 2019 Mountain Open.

"Teran will bring the ability to go low," says Coach North. "He has the natural talent, no doubt. Pair that with the returners and our system, and I think Teran will be something special."
