Event Details
The 2-Person Scramble fundraiser will be held at the Crestmoor Golf Club, located at 1801 W Townline St. The entry fee for each golfer is $100, but Crestmoor members and Spartan alumni can take advantage of a discounted rate of $50. The event will kick off at 2:00 PM with a shotgun start.
Format and Perks
The scramble format allows both team members to hit every shot. After each shot, the team will select the best position and continue from there. This format encourages teamwork and strategizing, creating a dynamic and engaging playing experience for all participants.
To make the event even more exciting, "perks" can be purchased to enhance your chances of winning on every hole. These perks include driving assistance from the Spartan team members, attempts to get the ball closer to the hole, and tap-ins for first putts. Each perk costs $10 per hole, or you can choose the all-inclusive option for $50 (per team). Take advantage of these unique opportunities to improve your game and increase your chances of winning fantastic hole prizes.
Hole Prizes and Raffle
To add an extra element of competition, there will be hole prizes on every hole. Examples of hole prizes include "Closest to pin in two," "Longest putt," and "Longest drive." Test your skills and aim for these exciting rewards while supporting the Spartan golf team's cause.
In addition, there will be a raffle for a Southwestern Spartan team-issued customized Nike golf bag. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $5 each or 5 tickets for $20. Don't miss the chance to win this exclusive prize while contributing to the renovation of the short game practice area.
Support the Cause
Apart from participating in the event, you can also make separate donations to support the Spartan golf team. The Southwestern Community College Education Foundation accepts donations and provides tax-deductible receipts.
