Creston, IA – Southwestern Community College is excited to announce the upcoming tryouts for the college's esteemed golf team for the 2023-2024 academic year. Aspiring golfers are invited to participate in these highly anticipated tryout sessions to showcase their skills and passion for the sport.

Tryout Schedule: The tryouts will be conducted over two days, providing ample opportunities for participants to showcase their golfing abilities:

• Saturday, August 19th (Tee Times in the morning)
• Sunday, August 20th (Tee Times in the morning)

Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for the tryouts, participants must meet the following criteria:

• Completion of an Athletic Physical within the prior 12 months: All participants must present a valid athletic physical certificate before participating in the tryout activities.
• Appropriate Golf Attire: Participants are required to wear suitable golf attire during the tryouts to ensure a respectful and professional atmosphere.
• Bring Your Own Clubs and Supplies: All attendees should bring their own golf clubs and any other necessary supplies for the tryouts.
• Full-time Enrollment: Participants must be enrolled as full-time students at Southwestern Community College, with a minimum of 12 credit hours for the upcoming fall semester.
• Academic Eligibility: As an institution committed to fostering both athletic and academic success, all participants must meet the necessary academic requirements to be eligible for the golf team.
