The Southwestern Spartan golf team concluded their season with a commendable effort at the North Central District Championship. The season finale saw the team secure a 9th place finish after an impressive final round of competition.

Highlighting the individual performances, Isac Fredriksson, a seasoned Spartan, concluded his collegiate golf career with a noteworthy achievement, earning the title of Honorable Mention All-Region performer. Fredriksson's consistent dedication and stellar play have been a cornerstone of the team's success, setting a high standard for his teammates to follow.

Individual performances played a pivotal role in the team's overall success. Sofus Lyck, Charlie McDonald, Ethan Badolato, Carson Thompson, and Maddux Weeks each contributed to the team's efforts with their skill and dedication, showcasing the depth of talent within the Spartan roster.

"It was good to finish the season on a high-note. We struggled on day one, but played well that final round," said Coach North. "I am hopeful this final round will motivate the freshman and incoming freshmen. Isac has been a staple in the #1 position all year and he deserves the All-Region recognition."

As the season concludes, the Spartans reflect on their achievements with pride, knowing they have represented Southwestern Community College with distinction on and off the golf course. Looking ahead, the team remains committed to continued growth and success, building upon the foundation laid during this season's journey.
