Wyatt Monohon of Seymour signs his National Letter of Intent with Southwestern track and field.

SEYMOUR - Southwestern Head Track and Field Coach Trey Bruton recently announced the signing of Wyatt Monohon of Seymour. Monohon will join the Spartan cross country and track and field teams for the 2019-20 seasons.

Monohon, the son of Chantell Devore and Matt Devore, will graduate from Seymour High School in May 2019.

At Seymour High School, Monohon has been an honor roll student for all four years.

"We are excited to see what Wyatt can get here and do," Bruton said. "He brings in a unique skill set and range. He has done almost every event imaginable, which will allow him to be successful in both cross country and track and field. We know he's got some talent and that there is something to be shaped and focused there to help him be successful. We can't wait until he can get here to start training with the team."
