The Southwestern Track and Field & Cross Country programs recently announced the addition of middle distance transfer William Moore for the 2020-21 season.

Moore, a transfer from Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, Georgia brings more depth to an already strong middle distance core. He holds a high school personal best time of 2:06 in the 800m run while competing for Woodland HS in Stockbridge, Georgia. 

William is no stranger to the Spartan program as he was being recruited by the Spartans directly out of high school. He has his mind set on coming here to SWCC and being succesful both academically and athletically for the team this up coming season. William brings in invaluable experience to a young team with a lot of talent and potential. He will be a key contributor to the middle distance group during the fall cross country campaign with his strong experience competing in the sport during high school.
