Chase Oates, representing the Southwestern Spartans, exhibited remarkable prowess in both the 10,000-meter run and the 3k Steeplechase events. In his debut attempt at the demanding 10,000-meter race, Oates showcased exceptional endurance, setting a new Southwestern school record with a staggering improvement of 1 minute and 14 seconds. His remarkable performance earned him the third position in the event, a testament to his dedication and athletic capabilities.
