CORNING - Southwestern Community College Director of Cross Country/Track & Field Scott Vicker has announced the recent signing of KC Sitzman to the team for the 2024-25 season.

Sitzman, a recent graduate of Southwest Valley High School, will provide the Spartan sprint crew with some much-needed depth.

Sitzman owns PRs of 11.57 seconds in the 100 meter dash and 23.77 in the 200 meter dash. He has also been a mainstay on Southwest Valley's sprint relay teams, in addition to running 400- and 800-meter legs on relays.

"KC has a great attitude, and I love his willingness to run any event," Vicker said. "That shows what a great teammate he is, which is reflected by the fact he was voted 'senior of the year' by his teammates at Southwest Valley this past year. I am excited to see how much KC develops when he gets a full year to focus on training for track season."
