The Iowa Community College Athletic Conference (ICCAC) recently announce the NJCAA Division II Softball All-Region teams for the Spring 2016 season. Gabryelle DuBois and Abby Davis  were named to the first and second teams, respectively. Kassie Craig, Melody Stevens, Brennan Banks, and Tiernee Fichter were named honorable mention.

DuBois had a very effective defensive season with a fielding percentage of .880 on 92 defensive chances, recording 39 put outs and 42 assists. She had a batting average of .297 during conference play and scored 14 runs on 22 hits, including four doubles, one triple. She also batted in 11 runs.

Davis left her mark this season setting multiple single season records for the Spartans including total runs (56), doubles (20), and walks (28). As well, she led the team in batting average (.439) and RBIs (52).
