The Spartans of Southwestern Community College softball landed a pitcher/infielder on Wednesday for their 2019-20 roster. Savana Fuller, of Guthrie Center, made it official by signing a National Letter of Intent to play for the Spartans.

Fuller, who will graduate from ACGC High School in May, received second team all-conference honors and was honorable mention all-tournament team.

Nick Weinmeister, Southwestern head softball coach, said Fuller is a welcome addition to the Spartans' fall 2019 recruiting class.

"We are excited to have an athlete like Savana, because she will most importantly add depth to our pitching staff," stated Weinmeister. "But she can also swing the bat and add depth in other areas as needed."

She is the daughter of Shane Fuller of Guthrie Center.
