Creston, IA—All-conference softball player Caitlyn Sloss, a senior at Panorama High School, has signed with the Spartans of Southwestern Community College.

Sloss, a three-year softball starter for Panorama, will graduate high school this spring and head to Southwestern for the start of the fall 2023 semester. During 2022, Sloss was named all-conference in softball and volleyball. Academically, she has been named to the honor roll all four years of high school and is a member of the National Honor Society.

Spartan Head Coach Danny Jensen said the Spartans are excited to welcome Sloss to the team.

"Caitlyn is a versatile player and can help us at third base, as well as the outfield," said Jensen. "Caitlyn is a contact hitter and will have some speed on the bases. As a three-year starter at Panorama, she will bring experience to our team."

Sloss is the daughter of Sam and Crystal Sloss of Yale.
