Creston, IA - April 30, 2024 - Southwestern Spartans Softball has secured the #4 seed in the upcoming Division I Region 11 Softball Tournament, marking a significant achievement for the team in the competitive landscape of collegiate softball.
Despite facing formidable opponents throughout the season, including Iowa Western, Southeastern, and Indian Hills, the Spartans demonstrated resilience and determination, earning their place among the top four teams in the region.
The seeding and schedule for the 2024 Region 11 Softball Tournament have been announced, with Southwestern positioned to face off against #1 seed Iowa Western in the semifinals on Wednesday, May 1, at 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. Should the series extend to a third game, it will continue on Thursday, May 2, at 2:00 PM.
