Missouri pitcher will throw for Spartans

Creston, IA—Bailey Hosbach, an all-district pitcher from Marionville, Missouri, has signed a National Letter of Intent to play for the Spartans of Southwestern Community College in Creston starting with the fall 2024 semester.

Hosbach, who will graduate from Marionville High School in Marionville, Missouri, in May 2024, has been named all-district for softball during 2021, 2022, and 2023; she has been an all-region second team selection in 2021 and 2023; an all-conference second team selection in 2023; and all-conference honorable mention selection in 2021 and 2022. In addition to pitching, Hosbach plays third base and outfield.

In addition to softball, Hosbach has earned Academic All-State honors in 2021, 2022, and 2023, and is a member of National Honor Society, student council, FBLA, FCCLA, and FCA.

"Bailey is our second signee for the 2024-25 season," said Danny Jensen, Southwestern head softball coach. "She has been a successful pitcher for Marionville High School and the Bullpen Psychos travel organization. Whether on the mound, or participating in her many activities, she is very respected by her teammates and anyone who knows her."

Hosbach is the daughter of Erin and Darin Hosbach of Marionville, Missouri.
