Creston, IA—Woodbine High School's Jersey Gray recently signed a National Letter of Intent to play softball for Southwestern Community College.
Gray, a May 2024 graduate of Woodbine High School, was a first and second team all-conference selection for softball during high school, and a multi-sport student-athlete, participating in golf and volleyball as well.
Danny Jensen, Southwestern softball coach, said Gray was a leader on her high school team and will bring a strong work ethic to his Spartan team.
"Jersey has had a successful career playing second base, shortstop, and outfield," Jensen stated. "As a lefthanded hitter and righthanded fielder, she has much versatility, and offensively, she can bunt with speed and hit away."
Gray is the daughter of Joe Gray and Kelli Gray of Woodbine.
