Abby Nolte joined the Southwestern Community College softball coaching staff in August 2024.

Nolte completed a standout softball career at Northwest Missouri State University in 2024. Nolte finished her career tied for the most games played in Bearcat history with 213. She is tied for third in career home runs with 37 and ranks sixth in career RBIs with 134. She tied a single-game record for most runs batted in with seven in February 2024. While at Northwest Missouri State, Nolte was on the President's Honor Roll from 2019 through 2024, on the Northwest Student Athlete Advisory Committee from 2019 through 2024, and was a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes from 2019 through 2024.

In addition to her stellar collegiate playing career, Nolte also boasts four years of coaching experience after being volunteer assistant coach at Southeast Warren High School.

Nolte graduated from Northwest Missouri State University in May 2023 with a bachelor's degree in applied health science - exercise science, and earned a master's degree in recreation sport management in May 2024.
