Harlan Community High School's Carter Griffin has committed to competing for the Southwestern Community College sports shooting program.

Griffin, who will graduate from Harlan in May 2019, will become a Spartan and start at Southwestern in August 2019. He has been a varsity trap shooter at Harlan during high school.

Marc Roberg, Southwestern's head sports shooting coach, looks forward to the experience Griffin will bring to the Spartans' program.

"Carter is a well-coached shooter that comes from a very good trap program at Harlan," Roberg stated. "He will be a great addition to the team and I look forward to working with him."

Griffin is the son of Jesse and Jeanna Rudolph and Craig Griffin.
