Creston, IOWA—Southwestern Community College Head Sports Shooting Coach Marc Roberg has another piece in place for the college's 2019-20 sports shooting team. Morgan Pierce, a sports shooter from Southeast Warren High School, signed with the Spartan sports shooting team on Wednesday, Feb. 27.

Pierce, of Lacona, placed 11th in the state in trap shooting in 2018. He shot a 196 out of 200.

Roberg said Pierce is a very accomplished and well-coached shooter who will make an immediate impact on the Spartan team.

Pierce is the son of Shelly and Susan Pierce of Lacona.
