Southwestern Head Sports Shooting Coach Marc Roberg recently announced the signing of Mariah Murphy for the 2019-20 season.

Murphy, the daughter of Doug and Kristi Murphy of Anita, signed her National Letter of Intent to join the Spartans last week.

Murphy graduated from CAM High School in May 2018 before attending Iowa State University. At CAM, Murphy was a member of National Honor Society and National Honor Society of High School Scholars. She also earned her FFA Iowa Degree.

"Mariah shot one year for CAM and has the interest and ability to shoot well," Roberg said. "I think she will fit right in."
