The Southwestern sports shooting team traveled to Harlan to compete against the Iowa Western Reivers on Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018. The Spartan women swept the top three places taking the women's division with the following placements and scores:

• Courtney Nielsen - First place - Score, 86
• Makenna Lilly - Second place - Score, 81
• Jessica Aupperle - Third place - Score, 79

In the men's division, Southwestern top scorers were:

• Tyllar Roesener - 94
• Blake Binns - 91
• Devin Meeks - 89
• Courtney Nielsen - 86
• Dakota Burgmaier - 85

This team total of 445 fell just short of Iowa Western's 450.

The Spartans will travel to Indianola for the Grand View Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018.
