AFTON - Southwestern Sports Shooting Head Coach Marc Roberg recently announced the signing of East Union shooter Taylor Miller for the 2020-21 season.

Miller, the daughter of Shawn and Rosie Miller of Afton, will graduate from East Union in May 2020.

Miller is a varsity letterwinner in cross country, track and softball at East Union, in addition to a wrestling manager. She is also involved in trap shooting, FFA, student council, 4-H, Iowa Junior Breeding Association, American Simmental Association, TRIO, speech, drama, choir and National Honor Society.

"I had Taylor as a 4-H shooter," Roberg said. "I encouraged her to go out for the Union County trap team. She has really improved as a shooter. Taylor will be a great asset to the SWCC shooting team and to the college in general. We look forward to having her here."
