Joseph Sonntag of Atlantic, an avid outdoorsman, has signed with the Spartan sports shooting team for their 2021-22 run. 

During high school, Sonntag participated in cross country for four years, soccer for three years, and archery for four years. Sonntag is a four-year state qualifier and earned the Trojan Head in archery. He has participated in sports shooting at CAM High School for two years.

Academically, Sonntag was named to the honor roll and honored as an academic shooter. In addition to school activities, he achieved Eagle Scout status. 

Sonntag graduated from Atlantic High School in May 2021. He is the son of Jolene Sonntag and Todd Sonntag of Atlantic.
