Coming back from the 18-day holiday break, Alyssa Morris led the Spartans to two conference wins out the gate in 2022, ultimately earning ICCAC and NJCAA Athlete of the Week honors.

Beating out Southeastern and DMACC, Morris was scoring at will while shooting 63% from the field and 60% from beyond the arc. In each of those games, she led in both total points and rebounds. Combined, she scored 59 points in the two games along with grabbing 25 rebounds, including a 34-point outburst against DMACC, a career-high. Morris leads the ICCAC in rebounds per game (10.8) and sits in second for points per game (20.4).
