Southwestern Community College women's basketball dropped to 1-4 on the season after a hard-fought 76-55 road loss against No. 13-ranked North Central Missouri College on Wednesday. Despite the setback, the Spartans showcased resilience against a disciplined opponent, keeping the game competitive into the second half.
The Spartans trailed by only 10 points at halftime but faced foul trouble that hindered their momentum in the second half. Two players fouled out, challenging the team's ability to keep pace against a deep NCMC roster.

- Brooklyn Hadl: 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 9-for-10 shooting from the free-throw line.
- Gabby Dwanyen: 13 points, 8 rebounds, and strong play in the paint.
- Joslyn Policky: 11 points, 4 rebounds, and efficient shooting off the bench.
"We held our own against a nationally ranked team," said Head Coach Kori Zarzutzki. "This game highlighted areas we need to improve, but I'm proud of the way we competed. We'll get back to work on the little things and continue to grow as a team."
