CRESTON, Iowa – The Southwestern men's and women's basketball programs successfully hosted the first-ever Southwestern IA All-Star Games on March 30, bringing together top regional talent for an exciting evening of competition.

The event featured 40 student-athletes from 20 local high schools, with the girls' game tipping off at 4:00 p.m. and the boys' game following at 6:00 p.m. The inaugural showcase drew strong community support, with over 300 fans in attendance.

Both matchups were highly competitive, with each game decided by single digits. The girls' contest came down to the final moments, as a made basket with just two seconds remaining sealed the outcome.

Southwestern appreciates the support from all participants, fans, and local schools in making this event a success. The Spartans look forward to continuing this tradition in the years to come.
