Bryant Tucker, Sr. joined the Southwestern women's basketball program as an assistant coach in August 2024.

Tucker coached girls and boys basketball and volleyball in the Kansas City area from 2018-21 for JC Harmon High School and Westridge Middle School. He was named KCAL Coach of the Year in 2020.

In 2021, he moved to Bemidji, MN, to coach at Oak Hills Christian College. During his stint at Oak Hills, he was the head coach for women's basketball from 2021-23, as well as the head volleyball coach during the 2022-23 academic year. In addition, Tucker has officiated women's collegiate basketball.

Tucker holds a Master of Science degree in sports management with a concentration in interscholastic athletic administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in sports management from American Public University in Charles Town, WV.

In addition to coaching, Tucker is a residence hall coordinator in the Southwestern student housing department.
