DAYTONA BEACH, Florida - Southwestern sophomore Bianca Findlay finished out her Spartan career by finishing in a tie for 45th place at the NJCAA Women's Golf National Championship at the LPGA International Hills Course in Daytona Beach, Florida, May 13-16.

After the first round of competition on Monday, May 13, Findlay carded rounds of 86, 92 and 88 to finish with a 54-hole score of 266. Worapitcha Anndit of Seminole State ran away with the individual championship, shooting a 3-under-par 213 to finish eight strokes clear of second place, leading Seminole State to the team title, and ending Daytona State's streak of three straight national championships.

Findlay posted a pair of birdies on the front nine of her first round Tuesday and played the back nine in 4-over, but a pair of triple bogeys on the front nine hampered her score. The sophomore from Australia managed eight pars during Wednesday and Thursday's rounds combined. She moved three spots up the leaderboard during the final round to finish tied for 45th.

Findlay, a two-time NJCAA Women's Golf National Championship and the 2019 Region XI individual champion, will now continue her golf career at Tusculum University in Greeneville, Tennessee, after signing a National Letter of Intent last week.
