CRESTON, Iowa—Brooklyn Herr, a 5-foot, 5-inch setter from Winterset, has committed to the Southwestern Community College volleyball team for the 2019-20 academic year.

Herr, who plays club volleyball for the Westside Strikers, will graduate from Winterset High School in May 2019. She played on the Winterset High School volleyball team all four years of high school as well.

Quiggle said Herr's setting skills will aid the Spartan team.

"Brook will do a great job running the offense and setting up hitters," Quiggle stated. "She plays solid defense as well, and is a great team player."

She is the daughter of Chad Herr and Christy Anderson of Winterset.
