Jada Perkins signs her National Letter of Intent to play volleyball at William Penn University.

Southwestern sophomore Jada Perkins signed a National Letter of Intent Monday to continue her academic and volleyball career at William Penn University in Oskaloosa.

At William Penn, the 5-9 outside hitter from Omaha, Nebraska, will be reunited with her former Southwestern coach Aleesha Cleaver, who coached the Spartans from 2016 to 2017 before taking over the head coach position at William Penn.

Perkins led the Spartans with 290 kills in 34 matches during the 2018 season, averaging 2.66 kills per set. In 2017, she paced the Spartans with 344 kills at a 2.92 kills per set average. She amassed 773 digs during her two-year Spartan career.

Perkins helped Southwestern to a 14-21 record in Casey Quiggle's first year as head coach.
