Hometown student-athlete Breanna Ross has made her college decision and will be donning a Spartan uniform this fall. Ross signed her National Letter of Intent for Head Coach Casey Quiggle and the Southwestern Community College volleyball program late last week.

Ross, a 5-foot, 6-inch setter, ended her high school run with 1,000 career assists and was a team captain for two years. In addition, she received all-academic honors for four years and earned academic all-state honors as well. She is a member of the National Honor Society and will be a valedictorian for the 2019 Creston High School senior class.

Quiggle said he's excited to have a versatile local student-athlete join the Spartan program.

"Bree has a good court sense and works hard both on- and off-the-court," Quiggle said. "Bree also excels in the classroom and is at the top of her class."

She is the daughter of Julie Schultz and TJ Ross.
