CRESTON, Iowa—Southwestern Community College Head Volleyball Coach Casey Quiggle added some power to his front row late last week. Bedford High School hitter Paige Oldenkamp signed with the Spartans.

Oldenkamp, who will graduate from Bedford High School in May, was selected as an Iowa Girls Coaches Association (IGCA) senior class all-star, a KMA Radio all-star, IGCA all-district, a Pride of Iowa (POI) Conference second team choice her junior year, and a POI honorable mention selection her senior year. She was also named POI elite.

In addition to athletics, Oldenkamp was named to the honor roll her senior year.

Quiggle said Oldenkamp's flexibility in the front row will be a huge asset for the Spartans.

"Paige adds to our front row capabilities and options," Quiggle stated. "She does well with her offensive attack and puts up a big block. She is versatile and can play any of the front row positions."

Oldenkamp is the daughter of Sarah and Justin Kernen of Bedford.
