Volleyball Signs Annabelle Mason

Southwestern Community College (SWCC) Volleyball is proud to announce the signing of Annabelle Mason, an outstanding student-athlete from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to join the Spartans for the 2025-26 season. Mason, a standout at both her high school and club levels, brings a strong academic and athletic profile to the team.

The daughter of Michael and Cori Mason, Annabelle has been recognized on the Green and Gold Honor Roll for her academic achievements, and her artistic talent earned her an Art Award alongside a coveted class letter. Athletically, Mason received the "Most Improved Player" award, recognizing her dedication to skill development and her upward trajectory in the sport.

Annabelle has trained under the guidance of Coach Melissa Duffield with Precision One, a well-regarded club program. Her commitment to continuous improvement and her strong work ethic align perfectly with the values of SWCC Volleyball. "SWCC is the perfect school and town I was looking for," Mason said, expressing excitement about her future as a Spartan. She also shared her gratitude toward her father, Michael, saying, "My dad was my number one support, and I wouldn't be where I am without him."

Head Coach Brianna Maitlen noted, "We are thrilled to welcome Annabelle to the Spartan family. Her accomplishments in both academics and athletics speak volumes, and we're looking forward to seeing the impact of her energy, work ethic, and passion on and off the court."
