In a double-header scrimmage at Missouri Western State University, the Spartans faced off against formidable opponents, Indian Hills and Highland. With Coach Chris Piperno leading the way, the Spartans displayed their talent, determination, and growth.

In the first scrimmage of the day, the Spartans squared off against Indian Hills in a closely contested match-up, followed up by the scrimmage vs Highland. Performances to note were:

Barrett Lodge: Barrett showcased his pitching prowess by delivering 2 impressive innings, recording 3 strikeouts and demonstrating excellent control on the mound.

Chris Lugo: Lugo was a force at the plate, delivering 3 hits and stealing 2 bases, showcasing his speed and offensive skills.

Isaiah Dameron: Dameron came through with a crucial 2-RBI double, displaying his ability to drive in runs when it matters most.

Coach Piperno commented, "Always great to see the boys compete and take strides forward together."

Collin Nardini: Nardini was a standout on the mound, recording 2 strikeouts in just 1 inning of work, displaying his pitching prowess and ability to shut down the opposition.

Additionally, Zade Stark played a pivotal role, reaching base an impressive 4 times during the day.
