Your Southwestern Dazzlers took to Des Moines for their largest competition of the year on December 1st. Since 1976, the Iowa State Dance/Drill Team Association (ISDTA) has been hosting competitions and Southwestern Community College has perenially fared very well, this year was no different. 

The Dazzlers came home with Division 1 ratings in both their Pom and Hip Hop routines, while earning a Division 2 rating in their Jazz routine. 

First year head coach, Paige Busch, had this to say on the day, "I was overly impressed with the girls' performances and awards received in the tough community college category. Our next performances include basketball games, area showcases and the Dazzler showcase at the end of February!"

The team performed in front of a large crowd during halftime of the women's basketball game on Friday, December 3rd. They will be hosting the Southwestern Dance Team Showcase on Saturday, February 26th.
