Just weeks after signing with the Southwestern Community College (SWCC) volleyball team, Southwest Valley's Taylor Damewood has also committed to the Spartan golf program. Damewood will be a two-sport athlete at SWCC starting with the fall 2016 semester.

Damewood, daughter of Brian and Carla Damewood of Corning, graduates from Southwest Valley High School this month. She lettered in golf all four years during high school and earned a trip to state her freshman year.

She will be a student in SWCC's arts and sciences college transfer program.
